About the Dish:
Paneer Butter Masala is a rich, creamy North Indian curry loved for its smooth tomato gravy and soft Nova Dairy paneer cubes. Perfect for special dinners or indulgent weekend meals; it delivers restaurant-style flavour right at home.
Ingredients
- 250 g paneer cubes (made using Nova Pasteurized Milk or Nova fresh paneer)
- 2 tbsp Nova Butter
- 1 tbsp Nova Dairy Cow Ghee
- 2 cups tomato puree
- ½ cup finely chopped onions
- 10–12 cashews (soaked and blended)
- ½ cup
- Nova Dairy Creamer (for richness)
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp kasuri methi (crushed)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Method
Step 1:
Heat Nova Butter and Nova Dairy Cow Ghee in a pan. Add chopped onions and sauté until soft and lightly golden.
Step 2:
Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until aromatic. Stir in tomato puree and cook on medium flame until the mixture thickens and releases butter from the sides.
Step 3:
Add turmeric, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix in the cashew paste and cook for 4–5 minutes until the gravy becomes smooth and rich.
Step 4:
Add paneer cubes and a little water to adjust consistency. Simmer gently for 5–7 minutes. Stir in Nova Dairy Creamer (or fresh cream), garam masala, and crushed kasuri methi. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Step 5:
Garnish with fresh coriander and a small knob of Nova Butter before serving for extra richness.
